There was a time in my life when you meant the world to me. When everything you did had an effect on me. Everything you said was like the Gospel to me. There was a time when I couldn’t pay attention in class because of the thought of you. When I only got out of bed in the morning because of you.

Now I realize that the time we had together has passed. I realize that you’ve moved on and are much happier now. Maybe its my turn to buck up and change these old batteries in my life’s clock.

I can’t keep living in the past forever…
